Hybrid mobile apps

Hybrid mobile applications are web applications that run on smartphones as normal applications (without the need to run a web browser). Increasingly popular way to create such applications is to use the framework to create mobile applications using web technologies such as html, css, javascript. An example of such a framework is Ionic. This is an alternative approach to programming smartphones in their native languages, but the disadvantage of these applications is slower acting as compared to the native solution. In most cases, however, this is not a problem.
